Changes To The Military

Ever since the first detonation of a nuclear bomb, militaries and the world have never been the same. Militaries all around the world have nuclear weapons with deadly abilities. Billions of dollars are spent on thousands of nuclear weapons every year.

The Nuclear Arms Race

In 1949, the Soviet Union detonated their own atomic bomb, starting the Nuclear Arms Race during the cold war. Both countries continued to make advances to their military. The U.S. detonated a hydrogen with the Soviets following soon after. Both countries also made their own Inter-continental Ballistic Missiles, which can reach any point in the world in under 30 minutes.
